Who am I? I am an Early Years Professional navigating my way through my doctoral journey.

As a child I loved school, learning new things. When my children where young I became a childminder so I could still be with the children and work at the same time. Whilst working fulltime I completed a degree with the Open University and subsequently went on to do a Master of Education with them. I always dreamt on doing a PhD but life came in the way. I carried on reading, attending virtual summits, webinars anything really to gain more knowledge. Then last year I was encouraged to apply to University of Portsmouth and their Professional Doctorate in Education programme (EdD). I was successful securing a space and I have just completed my first year of taught modules. I have one more year of taught modules before I embark on my very own research. It is exciting but also quite scary at the same time.

I want to share the knowledge that I have gained over the years relating to the Early Years.
